Point of Origin: Ahart121 Re-routed through: wheres-amanda Final Landing: Mizgadabout

I have learned from the best (Ms. Smith), and the lesson is that it is not good blogmanship to simply have one blog. Fortunately, blogger came up with some new features just in time. I was jealous of Ms. Smith's ability to add labels. My ability to customize my blog is still relatively hampered though, but with my limited skills I'll take what I can get.

For my first post on my new blog, I wish I had something of profound importance or interest to memorialize. I do not. Instead, it's just the same old stuff.

Today I went to the city to look at an apartment. It was my first time back in the city since moving out in August, and my brief time there this morning confirmed that I do, in fact, need to move back into the city. During a brief moment of obscurity, I contemplated moving into a one bedroom apartment somewhere in the East Bay - either Berkeley or Oakland (Lake Merritt or Rockridge). Fortunately, I have come to my senses, and San Francisco is the place for me.

The apartment is on a street I've always admired. Tree-lined, quiet and sans muni, I would love to find an apartment on this street - Noe Street. It's location is great: I would be close to the Castro, Mission and Lower Haight areas. I'd still be within walking distance of my yoga studio, and I'm in very close proximity to the best Indian restaurant in town AND my gym. I'm further away from Trader Joe's, but sometimes sacrifices are necessary.

We'll see what comes of this agonizing processs.
